Kobido

Kobido means "The Ancient Way of Beauty".

Traditional Japanese facial since 1472 and formerly reserved for imperatrice.

It is passed from Master to apprentice and I had the chance to be trained by the 26th Master of the house and lineage of Kobido, Dr Shogo Mochizuki.

Demanding training that requires hundreds of hours of learning and practise to master the techniques.

Although many institutes and therapists use the term Kobido for their facial massage, but we are actually few in the world to be "Licensed Kobido facialist" by Dr Mochizuki.

True art and ballet of the fingers, this exceptional and unique natural facial treatment acts on the muscles, the lymph and the meridians lines of the face by movements of drainage, smoothing, vibrations, pinching, stroking and pressures, for an anti aging et lfting effect.

Kobido restores to the skin its natural beauty:

  • It slows aging skin
  • It tones, firms and redesigns the oval of the face
  • It lightenes the skin and gives a luminous complexion by eliminating the toxins of the face
  • It stimulates blood and lymphatic circulation
  • It relaxes the muscles of the face and the neck
  • It promotes the production of collagen
  • It balances once's Ki (life force)
  • It brings a deep relaxation

The results are visible from the first session.

For an optimal result, it is advisable to perform 5 close sessions (1 per week) then 1 session once a month.

3 facial treatments:

  • 30min: targeted
  • 50 min: traditional facial
  • 1h20: imperial facial, with jade and rose quartz roll-on and gua sha
